Camp Shelby, MS18 photosJoe trained with the 69th Division at Camp Shelby, Mississippi and was transferred to the 90th as a replacement to Company M, 358th Infantry during the summer of 1944.
His wife, Anne, traveled to take work near Joe during his stateside training, thus many photos were taken by Anne in the course of following Joe.
Joe survived the war to have three daughters and a full life in his home of Lakewood, Ohio.
