World War II Washington Memorial Site   The story of the memorial and its construction status, due to be dedicated in 2004. Tough Time for Tough Hombres    During the bloody fighting in the bocage, a small group of German paratroopers captured 11 officers and more than 200 men of the U.S. Army's 90th Infantry Division.  By Brig. Gen. Raymond E. Bell, Jr., U.S. Army (ret.)   - An interesting relating of the story of the surrender at St. Germain-sur-Seves.

Band of Brothers web site - Many, many interesting stories and photos of wartime experiences, contributed by members of different outfits, as well as many from the 90th. Very computer graphically intensive. May require you to download 'flash' programs.

German Re-enactors site. This site is a very informative site from a group of Germans who are 90th Division history buffs and who have created a re-enactors group. They portray the GI's of the 90th in an effort to learn more about them. The site consists of a description of the re-enactors groups, their events, history and a section on original war photographs. Very interesting !

World War II Stories - a web site dedicated to North Western Pennsylvania veterans. It has many stories by veterans of that area - some from 90th members. Also covers Korean veterans of that area.

World War II Orphans Network - Was your father killed in WWII ? The American WWII Orphans Network is an organization of sons and daughters of Americans killed and missing in World War II. The deaths of more than 406,000 men left an estimated 183,000 American children fatherless, and totally unaware that so many others share the same condition. Some have already found the American WWII Orphans Network, and some have not. It is those people we seek, as they (possibly you?) are the people who can most benefit from such a worldwide support group. At least two 90th members are memorialized here. There's a page in that site about Ernie Pyle  and a page about the P-38 can opener !!.

The WWII Internet Museum - an interesting site with many photos of WWII items and memorabilia. Has info on Pacific as well as European Theaters.

Veterans History Project - a Project of the American Folk Life Center of the Library of Congress  The Veterans History Project covers World War I, World War II, and the Korean, Vietnam, and Persian Gulf wars. It includes all participants in those wars--men and women, civilian and military. It documents the contributions of civilian volunteers, support staff, and war industry workers as well as the experiences of military personnel from all ranks and all branches of service--the Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and Navy, as well as the U.S. Coast Guard and Merchant Marine.
The service history of hundreds of veterans are listed here under the National Registry of Service section. Lots to read and hear at this site and maybe you can participate in a worthwhile project.

90th Division Regional Support Command Web site    The 90th Division lives on through the 90th Division Regional Support Command, headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas.

90th Infantry Division Preservation Group features info on 358th Infantry Regiment. Many other interesting links to statistical sites and reenactors site. A lot of good surfing here.
